AHMAD SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES (AST) LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THIS SOFTWARE

IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY: This AST License Agreement ('License' or 'Agreement') is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity, who will be referred to in this License as 'You' or 'Your') and AST for the use of software applications which includes user-manual. BY INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AST LICENSE AGREEMENT.

The Product is protected by copyright laws as well as other intellectual property laws. The Product is licensed and not sold.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE WARRANTY:
While AST continues to own the Software, AST grants you a non-exclusive, nontransferable license to install and use the Product subject to all the terms and conditions set forth here within.
1.1 You may use one copy of the Software on a single computer;

1.2 You may make one copy of the Software for archival purposes, or copy the software onto the hard disk of your computer and retain the original for archival purposes;

1.3 The period of use is limited to a fixed duration. The license has to be renewed after the period it is purchased for.

1.4 You may transfer the Software on a permanent basis to another person or entity after written notice to AST provided that you retain no copies of the Software and the transferee agrees to the terms of this agreement.

1.5 Company will not provide third party services or software used in the software.
1.6 Upgrades/support will not be free after six months.

2. LIMITATIONS

2.1 The Product is licensed as a single integral product; its component or parts may not be separated for use on more than one computer.
2.2 You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, translate, and make any attempt to discover the source code of the Software, or create derivative works from the Software. The Product may include copy protection technology to prevent the unauthorized copying of the Product or may require original media for use of the Product on the computer.
2.3 It is illegal to make unauthorized copies of the Product or to circumvent any copy protection technology included in the Product.
2.4 You may not distribute, sublicense, rent or lease any portion of the Software, user-manual to any competitor or third party;
2.5 You may not copy the documentation which accompanies the Software;
2.6 you may not use a previous version or copy of the Software after you have received a new or an upgraded version as a replacement of the prior version, all copies of the prior version must be destroyed.
2.7 Upgrade may require new license or fee for new features. AST will decide the price for new features time to time.

3. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY:

3.1 AST does not warrant that the Software will meet your requirements or that operation of the Software will be uninterrupted or that the Software will be error-free.
3.2 THE SOFTWARE IS LICENSED “AS-IS.” YOU BEAR THE RISK OF USING IT. AST GIVES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES OR CONDITIONS. YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS UNDER YOUR LOCAL LAWS WHICH THIS AGREEMENT CANNOT CHANGE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER YOUR LOCAL LAWS, AST EXCLUDES THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
The above warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement.
Other than the warranty set forth in Section 3.1 above, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AST, its authorized resellers and their subsidiaries provides the Product and any support services related to the Product ('Support Services') AS IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS, and hereby disclaim all other warranties and conditions, either express, implied or statutory, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties, duties or conditions of merchantability, of fitness for a particular purpose, of accuracy or completeness of responses, of results, of workmanlike effort, of lack of viruses, and of lack of negligence, all with regard to the Product, and the provision of or failure to provide support services.

4. SUPPORT

AST’s authorized dealers provide the support services.

5. DISCLAIMER OF DAMAGES:

Regardless of whether any remedy set forth herein fails of its essential purpose, in no event will AST be liable to you for any special, consequential, indirect or similar damages, including any loss of data arising out of the use or inability to use the software even if AST has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
5.1 You yourself be liable to counter any ethical/legal bounds by Government against using such software. The dealer or company will not handle any issue if arise.
