PDF to Text IS SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY AS TO MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

2. Evaluation and Purchase

PDF to Text is not free software. You may use this software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30 days. If you find it useful and want to use this software after the 30 day evaluation period, you must buy the license.

3. Distribution of the Evaluation Version

You may copy the evaluation version of this software and documentation as you wish, and give exact copies of the original evaluation version to anyone, and distribute the evaluation version of the software and documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means. But you should not charge or requesting donations for any such copies however made and from distributing the software and/or documentation with other products without the author's written permission.


4. License Introduction

* PDF to Text is distributed as Shareware. You can freely download and try the evaluation version.
* PDF to Text provides the Single License (1 PC), Personal License (3 PCs), Home License (10 PCs), Team License (100 PCs) and Enterprise License (Unlimited PCs) for your choice, please choose the appropriate license to meet your requirement.
> Single License (1 PC): licensed to yourself, you (individual) can use the licensed copy on your own 1 PC at most.
> Personal License (3 PCs): licensed to yourself, you (individual) can use the licensed copy on your own 3 PCs at most.
> Home License (10 PCs): licensed to your family, you and your family members can use the licensed copy on your own 10 PCs at most.
> Team License (100 PCs): licensed to your organization or team, your organization/team members can use the licensed copy on your own 100 PCs at most.
> Enterprise License (Unlimited PCs): licensed to your organization, your organization members can use the licensed copy on ALL your own PCs.
* PDF to Text also offers the Redistributable CLI for deploying PTT's CLI with your application/script/bat outside the scope of your licensed PCs, it provides the Personal / Team / Enterprise editions for your choice, please choose the appropriate edition to meet your requirement.
> Personal Edition: for a SINGLE developer to develop and distribute the commercial / noncommercial applications.
> Team Edition: for your team (6- developers) to develop and distribute the commercial / noncommercial applications.
> Enterprise Edition: for your enterprise (UNLIMITED developers) to develop and distribute the commercial / noncommercial applications.
> Upgrade Edition: for the paid users / teams / companies to upgrade the purchased edition between Personal, Team and Enterprise editions, such as upgrade Personal Edition to Team Edition. This may occur when you got more developers, just pay the price difference (e.g. upgrade Personal Edition (Lifetime) to Team Edition (Lifetime), You only need to pay US $200) to upgrade your edition, no extra fees. > The Redistributable CLI is licensed to people, NOT computers. That is, you (have Personal edition) or your organization members (have Team / Enterprise edition) can use the paid copy on your own computers that can work with the Redistributable CLI to develop and distribute your applications.
