Throughout the Blocks game piece of three blocks of various colors fall from the top to the bottom of the playing area. When the blocks form a solid row of three or more similar blocks across the playing area, that row vanishes.

The object of Blocks is to continue playing for as long as possible. The game is over when the playing area is stacked to the top with blocks.
