Configuration Management Assistant is a fast, lightweight, extendable configuration management toolset for Windows(Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2003+). It can achieve device configuration archiving, statistics, keyword indexing and search functions through configuration database. It can also achieve regular configuration backup automation. Configuration Management Assistant greatly optimizes administrator's daily operation and maintenance, and improve the efficiency of management. The main purpose of Configuration Management Assistant is to help administrators to manage configuration of devices.Configuration Management Assistant is compatible with any brand of equipment. It does remote backup via TELNET and SSH, and backup commands are entered by human-computer interaction.There are various network devices in a large data network, including switches, routers, firewalls, system servers, storage servers and other server systems which carry important data and run the business. Maintaining these network devices is a very important job to maintenance department.

For the needs of daily network management, Configuration Management Assistant can access and backup device configuration files. Large networks generally have hundreds more network devices and servers. There are different devices of HP, IBM, Cisco and other brand. It increases the difficulty of configuration backup.

Configuration Management Assistant is compatible with any brand of equipment. It does remote backup via TELNET and SSH, and backup commands are entered by human-computer interaction. Configuration file is sometimes very long, leading to reading difficulties.
