HTML Match is the visual web page comparison utility created by Salty Brine Software for Internet professionals. Use it to analyze the changes between two revisions of an HTML file. The files can be on a local hard drive or can be web pages on the Internet. HTML Match can locate the differences in the program source code, text content, or visual aspects of the pages. Differences, down to the individual character level, can be viewed in a side-by-side layout or in one browser window.

HTML Match is not just another file diff tool. Besides the ability to diff html source code, HTML Match provides the following capabilities: View the visual differences between two web pages in an actual browser window (WYSIWYG), ignore the source code and compare only the text content of the web pages. Pages can be local or on the Web

For software engineers, web site developers, release and quality control managers: Compare different source code of two HTML files to view what has changed between the original file and its revision. The differences are clearly marked and shown side-by-side. You can control granularity of the differences to the line level, word level, or character level.

For graphical web page designers:
View the original web page in a browser window with the changes shown graphically in-place, directly on the web page.

For technical writers, web content authors: Easily identify the changes to only the text content of the two HTML files.
