You might have had to seek common references between two data tables without these references beging always the same: misspelled names, addresses, descriptions, codes or identifiers different from one organization to the other...

Now docBird CrossReferencer allows you to automatically find similar references between two data tables. This tool is ideal for analyzing large volumes of data and for analyzing information that you frequently use: customer records, product catalogs, lists of bills, classification tables, etc ... Tasks that seemed binding and even impossible before, will now be handled in a few clicks with docBird CrossReferencer.

docBird CrossReferencer determines matches according to your own rules of recognition. It compares the columns you specify (addresses or descriptions for example) using one of the many likeness algorithms the tool features. So you can configure your search rules according to the type of data to analyze.

Once your recognition rules specified, simply click a button to start the search. docBird CrossReferencer then displays a summary report of results listing the directly found references, the unknown ones and finally those for which the operating tool 'was not sure'. For those, it allows you to manually select the right reference among the list of the most similar ones. At any time you have the opportunity to save the results of your search and to export them as lookup tables in the desired format.

docBird CrossReferencer supports multiple input formats (plain text, CSV, Excel ...). With an intuitive interface, the tool is also easy to use. It also allows you to keep your work (your settings and your search results) in projects.

Cet outil est idéal pour croiser de grands volumes de données ou pour analyser des informations que vous utilisez fréquemment : fiches clients, catalogues de produits, listes de factures, tables de classification, etc... Ces tâches qui vous semblaient contraignantes voire insurmontables sont désormais gérées en quelques clics avec docBird CrossReferencer.

docBird CrossReferencer détermine les correspondances suivant vos propres règles de reconnaissance. Il compare les colonnes que vous lui indiquez (les adresses ou les descriptions par exemple) en utilisant l'un des nombreux algorithmes de ressemblance dont il dispose. Ainsi, vous pourrez configurer vos règles de recherche en fonction de la nature des données à analyser.

Une fois vos règles de reconnaissance précisées, il vous suffit de cliquer sur un bouton pour lancer la recherche. docBird CrossReferencer vous présente alors un rapport synthétique du résultat listant les références trouvées directement, les références inconnues et enfin, celles pour lequelles l'outil 'a eu un doute'. Pour ces dernières, il vous permet de choisir manuellement la bonne parmi la liste des éléments les plus ressemblants. Vous avez à tout moment la possibilité de sauvegarder le résultat de votre recherche ou de l'exporter sous forme de table de correspondance dans le format souhaité.

docBird CrossReferencer supporte plusieurs formats d'entrée (Texte brut, CSV, Excel...). L'outil offre en plus la possibilité de conserver votre travail (vos paramétrages et vos résultats de recherche) dans des projets.

DOCBIRD CROSSREFERENCER END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

ATTENTION: READ CAREFULLY
By using, copying, or distributing the accompanying
software you indicate your acceptance of the following
docBird CrossReferencer End User License Agreement for use and
distribution ('Agreement').

RIGHTS: Title, ownership rights, and intellectual property
rights in and to the Software shall remain in meltingSoft.
The Software is protected by the copyright laws of
France and international copyright treaties. This License
gives you no rights to such content.

LIMITATIONS ON LICENSE: docBird CrossReferencer is shareware.
You are permitted to evaluate docBird CrossReferencer for 30 days.
Following this test period of 30 days or less, if you wish to
continue to use docBird CrossReferencer, you must purchase a license.

When using a unregistered copy of docBird CrossReferencer,

- you cannot process more than 100 lines per file per action.
- you cannot execute more than 1 action.

Regitering your copy of docBird CrossReferencer withdraws the
functional limitations described above.

Home users may use their single computer usage license on
all computers which are in property of the license owner.

Business users require one license per computer DocBird
CrossReferencer is installed on.

On each copy of the Software you must conspicuously and
appropriately reproduce meltingSoft's copyright notices (see
Software for examples of such notices) and disclaimer of
warranty; keep intact this Agreement and all notices that
refer to this Agreement or any absence of warranty (whether
written or interactively displayed); and give any other
recipients of the Software a copy of this Agreement.

meltingSoft, in his sole and absolute discretion, may
have included a portion of the source code or online
documentation of the Software. Except for any such portions,
you shall not REVERSE ENGINEER, DECOMPILE, DISASSAMBLE, OR
OTHERWISE REDUCE ANY PORTION OF THE SOFTWARE TO ANY HUMAN
PERCEIVABLE FORM, except to the extent this restriction is
prohibited by applicable law.

DISCLAIMER: This code should be used at your own risk. The
Software is provided on an 'AS IS' basis, without warranty of
any kind, including without limitation the warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-

arising out of your use, distribution, modification, or
duplication of the Software.

TERMINATION: The license granted hereunder is effective until
terminated by meltingSoft. You may terminate it at any
time by destroying the Software. This license will terminate
automatically if you fail to comply with the limitations
described above. On termination, you must destroy all copies
of the Software. The termination of your license will not
result in the termination of the licenses of any distributees
who have received rights to the Software through you so long
as they are in compliance with the provisions of this
Agreement.

EXPORT CONTROLS: None of the Software or underlying
information or technology may be downloaded or otherwise
exported or re-exported into (or to a national or resident of)
any country in violation of the laws and administrative
regulations of France relating to the control of exports of
commodities and technical data.
By downloading or using the Software, you are agreeing to the
foregoing and you are representing and warranting that you are
not located in, under the control of, or a national or
resident of any such country.
